Review of the Norfolk: A Consideration of Luxury vs. While the reception staff were indeed helpful in guiding us to our destination, the hotel's quality fell short of expectations, particularly for its pricing. The rooms, though clean, bore the weight of age, and neither of my two bookings could elevate my experience. The presence of a flat-screen TV and electric kettle offered some convenience, yet did little to mask the sense that this establishment aims for luxury without delivering palpable comfort. Paid Wi-Fi in the rooms often felt like an unnecessary extra when basic amenities should suffice, leading one to question if the investment is worthwhile. The bar and lounge area seemed inviting, yet lacked the vibrancy that could overshadow the otherwise muted atmosphere.
